U.S. Ambassador to Angola, Christopher Dell, has captured the work of six PSI/Angola supported NGOs on film in his photodocumentary on HIV/AIDS prevention. To capture the work of the local NGOs, Dell visited brothels, truck stops and slums—not your typical settings for a diplomat—and witnessed the outreach activities of NGOs focusing on the risk groups of truckers, prostitutes and youth. These photographs are but a few of those were exhibited and auctioned off in June at the JANGO HIV/AIDS Prevention Project in Luanda, Angola. Proceeds of the auction will go to the six NGOs featured in his HIV/AIDS photodocumentary.
